HSDL-9100 is a reflective sensor that thanks to its miniature dimensions is ideal for the construction of small mobile robots. Due to the very good parameters of the emitter and receiver diode, it enables detecting an object up to 60 mm. By using additional control electronics (eg a dedicated APDS-9700 system) it is possible to increase the detection distance up to 200 mm. The sensor has a SMD housing and is mounted on the surface.
